Willie Obituary

Willie Hugh Wilson, age 69, of Clinton passed away Thursday January 12, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Willie was born May 1, 1942 in New River to the late Claude and Nola Patterson Wilson. He was a member of the Farmers Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, and working on cars.
In addition to his parents Willie is preceded in death by grandparents Hugh and Annie Carroll, infant son Billy, and his brother James Goodman. Willie is survived by two sons Charles W. Wilson of Dandridge, and James A. Wilson of Clinton, ex-wife Hazel Dabney of Oliver Springs, step children Gary Boshears and his wife Wendy of Frost Bottom, Barbara Holbert and her husband Fred of Rockford, Michelle Freels and her husband Gordon of Oliver Springs, and Kristi Dooley and her husband Todd of Oliver Springs, brothers Clyde Wilson and his wife Betty of Cleveland, Ohio, and Glenn Wilson and his wife Geri of Cleveland Ohio, one sister Dorothy Jennings and her husband Danny of Clinton, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funerals services will be held Sunday January 15, 2012 8:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Huling and Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday January 16, 2012 11:00am at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday January 15, 2012 before the funeral from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
