William Lee. McCullough died April 27, 2011 at the age of 82. He was born October 30, 1928 in Jackson Mississippi, the son of Helen Shoemaker McCullough Damus and the late William Lee McCullough.
Mr. McCullough was graduated from the University of Cincinnati and was a registered mechanical engineer in Ohio. He was employed by General Electric for many years and more recently by Union Carbide and Martin Marietta. He was proud to have worked at S-50, ORNL, K-25, and Y-12.
He is survived by his devoted family: his wife of 57 years, Jane Sewell McCullough; daughters Anne (Mrs. Denis) Lovell and Elizabeth (Mrs. Edward) Schilling; grandchildren Kathleen, Daniel, and Jennifer Schilling, Geoffrey and William Lovell; mother Helen Damus; and brother John McCullough.
