Warren Lewis Willis, age 59, was born September 11, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. He slept peacefully away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at U.T. Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. He was the only son of Ann Willis and the late Rev. Dr. Charles Lewis Willis.
He was employed by CNS formally B&W Technical Services Y-12 for Safeguards and Security for 28 years. Upon completing his education at Morristown East High School, Morristown, Tennessee graduating from Cleveland High School, Cleveland, Tennessee in 1973, finishing his education with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management Degree from Tusclum College of Knoxville, Tennessee. He accepted Christ at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his legacy; wife Debbie Rena Willis of Oak Ridge; daughter, LaKeisha Willis of Atlanta, Georgia, grandson, Caleb Martin; granddaughter, Semaj Clark of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; son-in-law, James Clark of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Mother, Ann Willis; grandmother, Mary Lou Cook of Columbus, Ohio; sisters Lanita Willis, Cozine Bohanan of Columbus, Ohio and Jeannine Drummond of Knoxville, Tennessee. Father and Mother-in-law, Cecil and Louise Thompson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Waymond (Jackie) Thompson, Anthony (Kathy) Thompson, Cecil (Wanda) Thompson; Annette Thompson all of Cleveland, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday October 11, 2014 2:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday October 10, 2014 6:00 to 8:00pm and Saturday prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00pm.
