Wanda B. Robbins, 90, died July 16, 2017 with her family by her side in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Mrs. Robbins was born December 5, 1926 in Taylor, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she moved to the Washington, DC area where she lived for 70 years. She recently moved to the Alexander Guest House in Oak Ridge where she lived with her loving husband LeRoy Robbins.
During her life, Mrs. Robbins worked for the University of Maryland. She was a long-time member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park, Maryland. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed traveling and was an active member of the Moose Lodge. As her last name suggests, she also enjoyed bird watching.
Mrs. Robbins was survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, LeRoy; her daughters Sandi Tilley (Shannon) and Karen Crytzer (Jim); grandchildren Cari Knowlton (Nick), Ryan Tilley (Kelly), Robin Tilley (Andrew), Katie Crytzer (Joe Oliveri), Jimmy Crytzer (Meg), and Emmy Meredith (Ben); and great grandchild Winston Tilley.
