Vivian "Viv" Violet Vilardi Miller, 89, of Oak Ridge, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
Vivian was born on April 22, 1924, in Detroit, Mich. to Angelo and Ermina Aliberti Vilardi, both now deceased. Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles Newton Miller, who passed away on Aug. 20, 2007; her sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Bill Sage; and brother, Francis Vilardi.
Vivian was an avid reader, loved to travel, and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jake T. Miller; nieces and nephews, Linda and George Gardell; Billy, David, and Kevin Sage; Pamela and Harry Smith (Pam was her caregiver); Suzanne Vilardi, Robert and John Joseph Vilardi; David, Marc, Kimberly, Angela, Julian, Tyler, Rachel, Gabe, and Charles C. Miller; David Wilson; Pat and George Cawood; Ron and David Balies and many other relatives and friends, including a dear friend, Shirley R. King.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with graveside service following at Oak Ridge Memorial Park
