Timothy Obituary

Timothy Jason Cyan Christman "Cy", 37, of Oak Ridge went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.
Cy was born September 10, 1973 in Oak Ridge, TN to Roger Dale and Patricia Lynn Gibson Christman.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a certified dive master and had enjoyed working for his father's dive shop in Western Samoa and hoped to return. Cy was also a Star Wars enthusiast, enjoyed fishing, video games, building models, and flying remote controlled airplanes. He was a great joy and comfort to his mother and was a caring, compassionate and selfless person to everyone. He had a great outlook on life and had a lot of hopes and dreams for the future.
Cy is survived by his father Roger Dale Christman , American Samoa, mother Patricia Lynn Christman, Oak Ridge, brother Roger Blue Christman and his fiancé Dora Young, Oak Ridge, niece Hannah Blue Christman, Oak Ridge, sister Crystal Christman, American Samoa, grandmother Mildred Christman, Oak Ridge, uncles; Randy Gibson and his wife Tina of Maryville, Marshall "Butch" Christman and his wife Rose of Las Vegas, NV, Darrell Christman, Oak Ridge, aunts Brenda Davis and her husband Larry of Oak Ridge and Marsha Christman, Oak Ridge, cousins; Troy Davis, Steven Christman, Ashley Gibson, and Ashley Lodge.
A memorial service will be held Friday September 16, 2011 7:30pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 6:30 to 7:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Regions Bank for Timothy Christman 101 N.
