Sonia Smithberg

Sonia Smithberg is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home,Sonia was born November 26, 1928 and passed away peacefully July 28, 2017 surrounded by family. She was originally from New Haven, CT. She was employed as secretary for over 30 years at Davis Street Elementary School in New Haven where she retired and moved to Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Kate Moslowitz, husband George Smithberg, brother Sherman Moslowitz, sister Dorothy Miller, and daughter Ellen Englehardt. She is survived by her other daughter, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The service will be a private ceremony held with family.
