Sharon Ferguson

Sharon D. Ferguson, age 69, is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Sharon passed away January 4, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born January 2, 1949 in Denver Colorado to James Simpson and Fay Dotson Simpson. Sharon was a loving wife and mother and worked as a security officer for IBM. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Faye Simpson. Sharon is survived by her husband; Arthur Ferguson and daughters; Tolea Capps (Billy) of Knoxville, TN and Trina Harrison Gould of Powell TN. Grandchildren; Alexandria Gould, Jacob Gould and Joshua Gould of Powell TN ; Amanda Preston (Leo) David Garner and fiance Maggie of Grand Rapids Michigan,and Daniel Capps of Knoxville, TN. and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 pm January 8, 2018 at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville Tennessee, with a service to follow at 7pm Interment will be 3pm January 9, 2018 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park
