Scott Thomas Seith

June 17, 1959 — October 8, 2024

Lexington, Kentucky

Scott Thomas Seith, age 65, born June 17, 1959, died unexpectedly on October 8, 2024 at his residence in Lexington, Kentucky.

Scott grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship. Scott was a true lover of the outdoors, finding joy in fishing, hiking, and hunting. He had a remarkable ability to dawdle, savoring life's moments and encouraging those around him to do the same. As a skilled craftsman, his meticulous attention to detail shone through in every project he undertook. In his better moments, Scott embraced life with a playful spirit, never taking things too seriously. He was fun-loving and often silly, bringing laughter and lightness to those around him.

Scott will be missed by those who survive him: his daughter Kendahl Seith Moore and husband Steven; his grandsons Kain Seith and Phineas Moore; his siblings Sandy Abelquist and husband Eric, Heidi Chevalier and husband Mark, and Timothy Bunn; his loving nieces and nephews; countless other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Scott Seith II; parents, Harold and Bernice Seith; and brother Christopher Bunn.

Memorial Services will be held at the Mott-McKamey Funeral Home, 1017 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, Tennessee on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow.
