Ronnie Trentham, 72, passed away on Sunday at Lyons View Nursing Home in Knoxville.
Born in Knoxville to Hud and Margaret Trentham. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Bob Trentham, Reese Trentham, and Jean Reed.
In addition, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Trentham, and stepson, Danny Shinn.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Gail Trentham; Son, David (Christina) Trentham of Knoxville; Granddaughters, Tina (Jason) Andrews of Clinton and Jordan (Mansa) Mitchell of Oak Ridge; Great-Grandchildren: Adeline Andrews, and Aria & Ziyah Mitchell. Ronnie is also survived by Sister-in-law, Peggy (Lou) Volk and Patti Singletary of Knoxville, Daughter-in-law, Sandy Shinn, and several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie worked in security prior to his retirement. He loved working on computers, cars, and fishing. He and Gail relocated to Louisiana in the 1990’s and lived there until they were impacted by Hurricane Katrina, which led them back to Tennessee. Ronnie has always loved Louisiana and frequently talked about returning “home” to enjoy another authentic Po-boy sandwich.
