Roger Dale Myers, 58, of Oliver Springs, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Robinsville, N.C.
He was born July 5, 1953, in Independence, Kan., to Dale and Betty Hubert Myers.He was employed at ORNL as a health physicist and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his father, Dale Myers.His survivors include his mother, Betty Myers of Kansas; daughter, Kelly Myers of Oak Ridge; son, Josh Myers and his wife, Kim, of Huntersville, N.C.; brother, Rodney Myers and family; and sister, Pam Banzet and family.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Highways and Byways Ministry, 4704 Nell St. SW, Knoxville, TN 37920.
