Robert Eric Coin, 57, of Oak Ridge passed away on June 21, 2015. He was born October 31, 1957 in Oak Ridge to Robert Eugene Coin and Gertrude Elise Coin (Trout). He went through the Oak Ridge school system and graduated Oak Ridge High School in 1975. Throughout his life, he understood the need to give back to his community. When he was young, he would help his mother at the Holiday Bureau by fixing toys with his brother, Danny. When he was a teenager, he was part of the pilot program for the Youth Conservation Corps. He served his Country for nine and a half years in the Navy as a submariner and Missile Technician. After his time in the Navy, he served on the Marlow Volunteer Fire Department while going back to school. He also loved his family deeply. During his first marriage, he took in her three children as his own. During his second marriage, he had two sons that he would do anything to help and after his second marriage, had a daughter he would do the same for. He loved being a grandfather, as well, and it suited him greatly. He loved spending time with and spoiling his four year old grandson. He is survived by his two sons, Joshua Coin (29) and Zachary Coin (25); one daughter, Tammi Harman (15); one grandson, Albert Coin (4); and his four brothers John, Walter, Charlie, and Daniel. The Celebration of Life/Memorial Service for Robert Coin will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 6pm-8pm with Memorial Service at 7:30. It will be held at The Disabled American Veteran's Chapter 26 Post, 530 Kingston Ave. Oliver Springs, TN.
