Richard G Morrell, age 80, of Rockwood, TN passed away on July 20th, 2014 from complications due to AML. He was born in Elizabethton, TN on July 25th, 1933 and raised by the late Clifton "Shag" and Pearl Collins. He graduated from Elizabethton High School. He served in the United States Air Force in Korea. He retired from Kingston TVA Steam Plant in 1994. He was a devoted member of the Harriman Church of God. Loving husband to wife, Janice (Taylor) Morrell, devoted father of Clifton Earl (Christina) Morrell and Joe "Bubba" (Tammy) Morrell, and Tammy Jackson. Adored grandfather of Mathew, Sean, Gabriel, Abbie, Madison, Taylor, Ricky and Sabra. Great-grandfather to Kaylee Sue, Tyler, Joseph, Victoria and Kayla. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the family's residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
