Patricia ‘Trish’ Carpenter, age 54, of Clinton left this world unexpectedly on January 9, 2023. She was born to Dianne Walden and the late Walter ‘Buddy’ Walden on October 18, 1968. Trish was known to make the best sweet tea and was a great cook. She loved reading and working puzzles with her ‘Mommy Dear’. Trish loved camping and caving with her husband and children. She was a very supportive, giving person and never saw the fault in others. Trish was looking forward to the birth of her great grandson.
Trish is preceded in death by father, Walter (Buddy) Walden; father-in-law, David Carpenter; Her three children she never got to hold in this world; and grandparents.
She is survived by husband, Otis (Buggsy) Carpenter of Clinton; daughter, Jessica Carpenter and her children Johnny, Hailey, Casey and Cody, and son Billy Carpenter and his children Davey and Noah all of Solway. Mother, Dianne Walden of Clinton; Mother-in-law, Vickie Carpenter. Sisters, Melissa Davis (Michael) of Clinton, Sheila Langford (Robert) of Clinton, Cheryl King of Clinton, and Amy Walden Duncan (Slick Rick) of Solway; Brother in laws James Darren Messamore (Tina), and Larry Carpenter; Sister in laws Nancy ‘Sissy’ Messamore and Margie Carpenter; and lots of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14 from 4-6 at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home and Cremations. The funeral service will follow at 6pm with preacher Robert Langford officiating. The graveside service will be Sunday, January 15 at 2:00pm at Staff Sergeant Cornelius Carter Cemetery in Clinton.
