Pamela Sanford

Pamela Denise Sanford, age 46, of Oak Ridge went home to be with her Savior Friday February 27, 2015.
Pam was born November 25, 1968 in Sweetwater, Tennessee. She was a 1987 graduate of Powell High School and received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Hiwassee College. Pam was a member of the Oak Ridge Family Bible Church and enjoyed roller skating, swimming, basketball, dancing, music, and a love for animals. She sang in the choir at Powell High School. She and her husband had a favorite song which they would sing to one another. She was a do-it - yourselfer having done many remodeling projects. Pamela's passion was accounting. She had such a talent and attention to detail to her craft that she often found mistakes made by CPA's, previous employees, etc. As a result her employers were able to recoup funds due to them. She was a great asset to all her employers and clients and continually found ways to save them money. She was the founder and owner of LeBooks and had many clients in the Oak Ridge and Knoxville area some of which are Realty Center, Dean's Restaurant, Creative Carpet and Tile, National Electronics, and Ms. Betty Beard.
Preceded in death by her Father Billy J. Colvin, Grandmother Oda Harrod, Step Grandfather Ovas Payne, Father and Mother-In-Law Elijah and Mary Sanford, and Lee Maxwell Ewing. Pam is survived by her Husband Elijah Sanford III of Nashville, Son Prince Javon Cooper of Oak Ridge, Mother Alexia Diane Henry of Knoxville, Sisters Angela Renee Smith of Knoxville and Katie Colvin of Atlanta, GA, Grandfather Beecher Colvin of Tellico Plains, Step Daughter Nikki Sanford of Daytona Beach, FL, 4 Grandchildren Trevareon Simon, Breyon Simon, Amari Simon, and Janell Sanford, Niece Robin Brown, Nephews Mark and Matthew Smith, Brother-In-Laws Elzie Whithworth, Lemuel Whithworth, and Nassar Sanford, Sister-In-Laws Diane Pardo, Sandra Baines, Valarie Gooch, Wanda Jordan, Constance Holt, and Linda Roland, and life-long friends Stephanie Statzer, Leah Ewing, and LeRoy Ewing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday March 8, 2015 4:00pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Robert May officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. After services family and friends are welcome to gather at Dean's Restaurant for food and fellowship.
