Melvin Kallio

Melvin Everett Kallio is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Melvin passed away September 17, 2017 at Brookdale senior living in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He waws born August 29, 1922 in Painsville, Ohio to Thomas and Hilma Katila Kalio Mr. Kallio worked for the U. S. Post Office as letter carrier and also Postmaster, and served our country in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his sons; Thomas Kallio of Carmel, Indiana, and Craig Kallio of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Mr. Kallio chose to be cremated. Memorial service will be set at a later date.
