Mary Jeffries

Mary Jane Jeffries, age 75 of Oak Ridge, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Mary loved music and enjoyed spending time playing piano, organ, flute, and hand bells.  She assisted her husband James with his ministry for over 40 years teaching Sunday school, youth groups, and children’s choir.  For her career, Mary served in many different states and places as a Registered Nurse.  For her achievements and academic excellence, she was awarded the Dr. Jack Robertson Award for Scholastic Achievement at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College.

Mary was preceded in death by brother, James Evan; Parents, Andrew and Edna Evan.

Mary is survived by husband, James Jeffries; Daughters, Shannon Duggan and husband Kenny, Jeannie Johnson and husband Andrew; Son, Michael Johns; Grandchildren, James Duggan and wife Miranda, William Duggan and wife Donna, Tyson Johnson, Helen Johnson, Sam Johnson, Emma Johnson, Lillian Star and Michael Johns; Great Grandchildren, Darla Duggan, Bentley Howard, Ashton Kelly, and Finn Lee Duggan, Grace Gonzales; Brother, Andrew Paul Evan Ph.D;  Mary is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
