Linda Alexis White, 60, passed away September 17, 2016 at home after a difficult illness.
Linda was born on April 8, 1956 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of Alex and Priscilla White of Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Barrington College of Rhode Island in 1978. Linda moved to Knoxville in 1991, where she worked as an accountant and operations manager at Albers Pharmaceuticals and IPS Advisory services of Knoxville. Linda married Garret Sheldon Scott, of Oak Ridge, in 1993. Linda enjoyed many interests and hobbies and was an avid reader. She enjoyed music, growing orchids, traveling, Egyptology and raising her pet dogs and cats. Linda is survived by her husband Garret Scott, her sister, Patricia Ann (and husband Bob) Grahmann, of Madison, Wisconsin, and her nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 22, at the Chapel On The Hill in Oak Ridge, at 6:00 PM.
