Kandice (Kandi) Leann Steele age 38 of Oak Ridge passed away in her home April 10 2015
Kandi was preceded in death by her Grandmother (mothers side) Frances R. Dixon and Grandmother (fathers side) Annie Sue Steele and Grandfather William Bud Steele
Kandi was well known in the Oak Ridge area for her love of reading, animals and random acts of kindness and always believed in "pay it forward" where she would go out of her way to help the needy or even give food to a homeless person. She was a long time employee of Applebees as well as other restaurants in the Oak Ridge Area.
Kandi is survived by her mother Katherine Kinser Chadwell and stepfather James A. Chadwell father Anthony N. Steele son David Eben Paine Steele, granddaughter Marley Steele step sister Kelce Chadwell and many aunts , uncles and cousins
Visitation with the family will be Friday April 17, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7pm with Rev. Robert May officiating.
