John "Johnny" Thomas Baxendale, age 56, of Clinton passed away Monday July 16, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Johnny was born March 25, 1956 in Rockwood to the late Al and Ruth Vincent Baxendale. He grew up and attended school in Oak Ridge where he was an athlete. He loved sports and held track records at Robertsville Middle School and was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and the Tennessee Electronics Institute.
Johnny was of the Baptist Faith and is survived by his brothers Mickey Baxendale and his wife Sherry of Chattanooga and Richard Baxendale of Oak Ridge, nieces Tracey Baxendale and Stephanie Baxendale, grandniece Kaley all of Chattanooga, and a special friend Tom Alexander of Clinton.
In keeping with Johnny's wishes he was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
