Jenny Phillips went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday February 25, 2020. She was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee February 09, 1961 to Avis Collins and Mavis McCowan. Jenny was a member of Calvary Baptist Church (Heiskell) and was a wonderful mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and best friend.
She was loved by all and was a very happy person and enjoyed life. A graduate of Oak Ridge High School class of 1979, Jenny was a musician all of her life and played bass guitar for The Third Generation Bluegrass Gospel Group and Robert Keefer and Second Chance.
She was a life long Oak Ridge Wildcat fan. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and her fur babies. She will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Jenny was preceded in death by her husband; Rev. Roger Phillips, parents; Avis and Mavis Collins, father-in-law; Elmer Phillips, and brother-in-law; Kenny Davis.
Jenny is survived by her daughter; Rebekah Phillips and future son-in-law; Kevin Parchman, sister; Marlene Collins Davis, mother-in-law; Jewel Phillips, sister-in-law; Lisa and Tim Ward, brother-in-laws; Michael and Joyce Phillips, Jerry and Loretta Phillips and Jeff and Paulette Phillips. Also survived by Nieces; Amy and Roy Young, Laura Hileman, Nephews; Kevin and Ashley Ward, Jacob and Bridgett Phillips, Bradley and Macie Phillips, Eric Austin and Cody Woods. Jenny also leaves her adopted sons; Matt Munsey and wife Brittany, Chevy Watson and McCoy Borg Monroeville Band from Gatlinburg.
Visitation with the family will be from 6pm until 9pm Thursday February 27, 2020 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday February 28, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church located at 1902 Raccoon Valley Road NW, Heiskell, TN. Interment will follow the funeral service at Phillips Cemetery on highway 116 Devonia TN. Online messages may be left for the family at
