Jeffery Lee Wilkerson Jr.

Jeffery Lee Wilkerson Jr., age 35, of Knoxville, Tennessee, made his transition on December 26, 2024, alongside the love of his life, Carly Williams, to whom he was engaged and set to be married in early 2025. A 2008 graduate of Clinton High School, Jeff left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was the son of Jeffery Sr. and Melissa Wilkerson. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Jeff was a loyal and uplifting friend who made everyone feel like his best friend. Family was everything to him. Known for his humor and energy, he was the life of the party and always fun to be around. His presence brought light, joy, and laughter wherever he went.

Gifted and competitive, Jeff excelled at everything he did. His drive to succeed and his love of winning were like no other. Jeff will be remembered for his kind heart, contagious laugh, spirit, and the way he made everyone feel valued.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers: RJ Wilkerson, Leon Jones, and Howard Smith Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jeffery Wilkerson Sr., and mother, Melissa R. Wilkerson; sister, Jemikia Wilkerson; brother-in-law, Chub; grandparents, Loretta Jones and Melvin (America) Miller; nephew, Oryan Soles Jr.; niece, Amelia Rose; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and devoted friends.

Services honoring Jeff Wilkerson and Carly Williams will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The families will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Second Baptist Church (777 Public Safety Lane, Clinton, TN 37716), with the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
