Janet DePersio Sullivan, age 72, of Oak Ridge went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill, and two children: Tracy Turner of Hendersonville, TN and Will Sullivan of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Janet's son-in-law, Jerry Turner, is a pilot with Southwest Airlines. Janet also has three grandchildren, Alex, Anna and Audrey Turner. She is survived by her brothers who are all physicians: Dr. Gerard DePersio of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Edward DePersio of Wenatchee, WA and Dr. Richard DePersio of Knoxville, TN. Janet's mother was Gene Weinberg and her father, Dr. John DePersio, was chief of staff at the Oak Ridge hospital from 1947-1959. Janet was an avid reader and loved to swim. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree. Janet was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother; her kind, loving, caring and generous spirit touched the lives of many. Janet and Bill recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 18, 2015. Funeral Services will be 11:30 am Tuesday December 29, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oak Ridge, Tn.
