Howard Schrader

Howard Wayne Schrader, of Oak Ridge, Tn, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 20,2015. He was born June 5, 1938 to Alma Marie Hall Schrader and Allan Marzel Schrader in Pulaski, Virginia and moved to Oak Ridge, Tn. at an early age. He attended Oak Ridge High School through his sophomore year and graduated from Loudon High School in 1956, He attended the University of Tennessee and was an avid Vol fan. Wayne worked as an engineer at both the Y-12 and K-25 facilities in Oak Ridge for 40 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife Sheryl Wells Schrader; two daughters, Angela Pesterfield (Jeff Pesterfield) of Kingston, Tn and Lisa Schrader (Paula Hogan) of Norfolk, Virginia; and two beloved granddaughters, Ericka Pesterfield and Samantha Pesterfield of Kingston, Tn. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday February 24, 2015 from 5-7pm at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with funeral service at 7pm with Rev. Dan Dewey officiating. Interment will be Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 12pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
