Hazel Friddle Bailey, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Greer, S.C., died June 12, 2011, from a lengthy battle with kidney disease.
Born on Nov. 10, 1920, to the late J. Earle and Mabelle Friddle, she was the widow of the late Posey Bailey.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her children, Mack Bailey of Oak Ridge, and Mrs. Richard (Kathy) Hawkins of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Stephen (Jennifer) Hawkins of Reedley, Calif., Barton (Kathy) Bailey of Oak Ridge, and Mrs. Darren (Amie) Felthouse of Seattle; and great-grandsons, Austin and Aiden Hawkins of Reedley.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.
The funeral and interment will be conducted in Greer, S.C., on Friday, June 17, 2011.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, or the Southside Baptist Church, 406 South Main St., Greer, SC 29651.
