Hazel Floyd

Hazel Bearden Floyd passed away peacefully on April 7, 2017 at age 79.
Hazel was born May 10, 1937 in Wrens, Georgia. After several moves throughout the southeast she settled in the Clinton TN area in 1968 to start her family. She loved the natural beauty of the area and remained there for the rest of her life.
Hazel was a member of Clinton Church of God of Prophecy. She loved her church and was an active member for as long as her health allowed.
Over the years Hazel worked for several local technology companies and eventually retired from Perceptics Corporation in Knoxville, TN. She cherished the friendships developed over the years and enjoyed sharing stories.
Hazel was a loving mother, a devout Christian, and a caring friend. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Bearden, sisters Lucille and Ellen, and brother Raeford. She is survived by son Tom Floyd and family.
Visitation with the family will start at 5:00 PM on Thursday April 13, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home in Oak Ridge TN, with memorial services to the follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Larry Noe officiating.
