Gloria Obituary

Gloria Ann "Tut" Chesney, age 83, of Clinton formerly of Oak Ridge passed away Wednesday February 2, 2011 at her home in Clinton.
Gloria was born February 16, 1927 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late John Sullivan and Anna Elizabeth Gilliam Fullam. Gloria moved to Oak Ridge over 64 years ago and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed her time working at the Daniel Arthur Center, and loved to cook, garden, and read.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband James Chesney, Sr., her brother Jack Fullam, her sister Nancy Sprinkle, and her grandson Jeremy Chesney. Gloria is survived by her sons James Chesney, Jr. and his wife Judy Miller of Oak Ridge and John Chesney of Jacksboro, brothers Dave Fullam and his wife of Boise, Idaho and Bob Fullam and his wife Shirley of Titusville, Florida, her sister Betty Eastmore of Titusville, Florida, grandchildren James Chesney III and his wife Sheila of Oak Ridge, Scott Chesney and his wife Rebekah of Phoenix, Arizona, and Lisa Mitchell of Oak Ridge, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday February 8, 2011 in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends before the service from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Gloria's family has requested memorial gifts be sent to Susan G.
