Eunice Obituary

Eunice L. "Bobbie" Brewer, 90, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Taylors, SC, went home to Heaven on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was retired from Steel Heddle in Taylors, where she worked as an inspector. She was voted most athletic by her high school classmates, rode Harleys as a teenager and beyond, travelled the country by bus and as a passenger in an 18-wheeler, and had numerous adventures, living life by the simple motto: "What's to be, will be." She was preceded in death by her parents, Papa and Mama Hall; three sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her son, Bobby Lee Brewer (Margaret); daughter, Beth Bailey; grandsons, Jason Brewer (Marie) and Barton Bailey (Kathy); great grandchildren, Brently and Sara Brewer (Jason); and very special friends, Bobbie Speck, Bobbie Cole, and Ann Spearman. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Martin Funeral Home in Oak Ridge on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 5pm until 7pm to celebrate her full and wonderful life. Her family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to East Tennessee Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children to commemorate her lifelong love of caring for children.
