Elizabeth Ann Nelson Major age 82 is in the care of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Elizabeth passed
away Saturday December 21, 2019 at Shannondale Healthcare in Knoxville Tennessee. She was a
resident of Oak Ridge since 1966 Elizabeth was born August 08, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Fred and
Martha Robertson Nelson. She was a people person with sales being her passion and profession, as she
never met a stranger. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother; Martha Nelson, father; Fred
Nelson and brother; Tom Nelson. She is survived by daughters; Vicki Rayfield and husband Doug,
Kimberly Sharp. Sisters; Debbie and Dana Roach. Brother; Glen Nelson, grandchildren; Beau, Brian
Rayfield Javin Green and wife Trina and Jayce Sharp. Greatgrandchildren; Brooke and Katelyn Rayfield,
David and Isaiah Phillip. Longtime friend Jackie Smith. Special thanks to the staff of Shannondale Senior
Center and Tennova Hospice. Visitation with the family will be 2:00-4:00pm Thursday December 26,
2019 with a funeral service at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Expressions o
