Earnestine (Tina) Poor

Tina Poor, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully, at home, on September 11, 2024, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was 81 when she went home to be with the Lord. 

Tina was born February 27, 1943 in Lee County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Lean Cole Toler. For 51 years, she was married to the love of her life Ronald Dain Poor and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Ron and their children Kim Burcham (Bruce), Ben Poor (Crystal), and Kelly Hileman (Daniel). and her sister Johnnie (Donnie) Campbell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Marie Newsome, Barbara Toler, Betty Tussey, Virma Hobbs, and Alice Chrisman.

Tina bore the scars of her victory over breast cancer and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 676910, Dallas, Texas 75267-6910 (www.nbcf.org).

Services will be held at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The family will gather together on September 21st between 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. as we say goodbye to, and celebrate the life of a woman who showed unwavering devotion to her family. The celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 P.M.
