CLAIRE TRYER

May 29, 1934 – October 12, 2024

Claire C. Tryer, age 90, of Oak Ridge, TN and most recently of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on October 12, 2024.

Claire was the wife of the late Frank Tryer and is survived by her son, Mark C. Tryer, daughter-in-law, Michele, and grandchildren, Stephen and Christina and great-grandchildren, Sienna and Nicholas.

Claire was born on May 29, 1934 in Hamilton Township, NJ to the late George and Nelly (Yates) Rogaczewski.

In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Claire worked as an LPN at Saint Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ from the mid-1970’s to the early 1990’s before retiring with Frank to Oak Ridge, TN.

After settling into their home, Claire volunteered for several years at the White Elephant thrift store at Saint Mary’s Church in Oak Ridge.

Claire was a talented seamstress who loved clothes and looking her best. She was a gracious hostess who loved taking care of her family, as well as an understanding friend to many throughout her life. She will be missed but lovingly remembered by those who knew her.
