Carol 'Pookie' Yvonne Harris

Carol ‘Pookie’ Harris, age 65 of Oak Ridge went to join her son on January 2, 2023.

Pookie was originally from Highland Park, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening, her time in the smokey mountains and loved going to Nashville with her cousins Joann and Donna to the country music awards. Pookie was loved throughout Oak Ridge and Michigan.

Pookie was preceded in death by son, Brian Massengale; fiancé, Ray Brandon; brother, Jimmy Harris; and parents, James and Edna Harris.

She is survived son, Brandon Massengale of Clinton; daughter, Brandy Patterson of Oliver Springs; Brother, Michael Harris of Sevierville; sister, Barbara Allen of Michigan; granddaughter Brianna Massengale of Harriman; grandsons, James (Bubie) Massengale of Harriman, Brandon Massengale Jr., Justin Massengale, Noah Brewer and Bryson Brewer all of Clinton. Pookie was loved by several nieces and nephews.
