Carly Elizabeth Williams, age 33, of Knoxville, passed away on December 26, 2024, alongside her fiancé, Jeffrey Wilkerson Jr. Carly was a beautiful soul whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. She placed her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and her faith was a guiding force throughout her life.
A renowned hair colorist and stylist, Carly’s talent and creativity were unmatched. She had a special gift for making everyone who sat in her chair feel comfortable, confident, and excited about the outcome. Beyond her skill, she always went the extra mile for her friends and loved ones, making them feel truly special. Carly was a loyal friend. Her fun-loving personality and infectious energy lit up the room every time she entered. Her laughter and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carly and Jeff were planning to be married in 2025, and their love will always be remembered as a testament to the beauty of their bond. They were a true love story.
Carly is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dr. William Phillip Clear and his wife, Polly Elizabeth Bond Clear, of Jefferson City, TN; Lucy Cridlin Williams of Jonesville, VA; and Chris Capper Williams of Knoxville, TN.
She is survived by her parents, Keith and Jane Williams; her grandfather, Daniel H. Williams of Knoxville; her aunts and uncles, Phil and Kim Clear of Knoxville, Meghan Williams of Knoxville, Craig and Carol Clear Reed of Huntsville, TN, and Danielle Williams Sykes of Knoxville; her great aunts and uncles, Fred and Druanna Overbay of Talbott, TN, and Margaret Nevels of Knoxville; as well as numerous cousins.

Services honoring Carly Williams and Jeff Wilkerson will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The families will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Second Baptist Church (777 Public Safety Lane, Clinton, TN 37716), with the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
