Betty Wheeler

Betty Sue Gregory Wheeler 83 of Fort Myers , Florida passed away February 24, 2017 at Cape Coral hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born February 13, 1934 in Pleasant Ridge, Kentucky to Gordon and Carrie Gregory. She was owner of LochRidge Homes where she retired in 1995, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Madison Dobbs. Betty is survived by her husband Bill Wheeler, sons: Michael Dobbs (Teressa) of Zebulon, NC, David Dobbs (Sally) of Raleigh, NC and Jeffrey Dobbs of Dickson, TN. Grandchildren Chris, Amber, Kristen, Ashley, Lindsey and Hayley. 7 step-children Deborah (Bill) Jones, Patricia Workman, Dora (Jeff) Erickson, Billy(Carolyn) Wheeler, Joey (Tracey) Wheeler, Carol Wheeler, and Sharon (Lloyd) Colston 22 step-grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren
Visitation with the family will be 4-7 PM February 28, 2017 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM March 1, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Oak Ridge Memorial Park
