A.M. Clay (Pap) age 83 of Powell, TN was born January 27, 1928 and departed this life on September 28, 2011 at Park West Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Vester, father Buster Vester, son Curtis and daughter Diane. He is survived by his wife Debbie Clay, daughters BeLinda Beaton and Sherry Suffridge, special grandson Chip Wolfenbarger, granddaughter Amanda Nicely, 5 great grandchildren, and a very special friend George Arwood of Powell, TN.
Mr. Clay's funeral service will be Saturday October 1, 2011 11:00am in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Schneider officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am at the funeral home before the funeral service.
