Anna Young

Mrs. Anna L. Young, daughter of the late William and Violet Sanford was born February 27, 1940. She attended Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee, where she met the love of her life, Robert W. Young whom she married on May 1, 1957.
Mrs. Young was an active member of the Karns Church of Christ in Knoxville. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the tulips that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her son, Rob W. Young, Jr. and her daughter, Lisa A. Young.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the life of her devoted husband, Robert W. Young, Sr. and in the lives of her devoted family members: William R. Sanford, Jr. and Joy Sanford, Shane E. Moses and Christine L. Moses, along with a host of devoted grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 5-7PM Saturday October 22, 2016 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Sunday October 23, 2016 with interment following at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton TN
