Anna Mae Kite Medlin, age 89, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday October 10, 2014 at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Anna Mae was born September 15, 1925 in Campbell County Tennessee to the late Robert and Zola Hatmaker Medlin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved gardening, quilting, and cooking for her family and friends.
Anna Mae is preceded in death by her sister and two brothers Cordia Sweat, Cecil Kite, and Basil Kite. She is survived by two sons Barry Medlin of Oak Ridge and Mike Medlin and his wife Silvana of Deerfield Beach, FL., daughter Teresa Lovingood and her husband Gary of Cartersville, GA., brother John Kite of Onalaska, TX., sisters Josephine Roth of Stillwater, OK., and Betty Ziemke of Huntsville, AL., grandchildren Amanda and Victoria Medlin, Aric Lovingood, Kaitlyn Sullivan and her husband Patrick, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Monday October 13, 2014 at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lee Lyons officiating.
